discovery tdv6 2006

help needed
bought a new fob and changed it all over to the new one.the central locking works and when you put the key in the ignition all the lights and radio come on but it wont start. i think i have damaged the transmission chip. is there a quick fix? can anyone help please

Check the fuses may be a 20 amp fuse blown to do with immobiliser

would this be in the main fuse box? as i cant find it

Yes in the main box
not sure where it’s located on the discovery tho
