Help -underseal

sorry, this is for a work mate with an old sunbeam alpine.

does anybody know how to get rid of underseal???


any help gratefully received.

Paraffin, or white spirit. The latter being a fair bit more expensive!

I buy it in 5ltr cans and yet to find something it cant shift!

steve, who is after the info has mixed petrol with grease, so that it can be smeared on & left for a while. dont know if it will work though?

If you don't have access to a steam cleaner then try Gunk (or similar), it also leaves a nice phosphorated coating to protect the bare metal.
