How many miles 991.1
Discussion
Looking at dipping my toes into the world of 911 ownership.
What sort of mileage we looking at before things start going wrong? There are a few examples of 2013+ models with 50k+ of miles on them, obviously at a lower price point so negates some of the depreciation over my term of ownership. However, wondering if the mileage should be sending out warning signals to me...
I'm unlikely to cover more than 5k miles pa for context.
Any views appreciated.

Sorry not had a 991 ...however owned a 996 and 997 and both cars at the 40-60k miles (5 years oldish) worked their way through discs , condensers, battery, coffin arms , corroding fixing bolts oil leaks etc. Both cars purchased/maintained via OPC . I was very disappointed with the 997 repeat performance of 996 failures , I do think these types of failures are attributed to poor quality materials and have no reason to suspect the 991 any better. Sorry to be doom and gloom , I still love my 997 but wish the unseen parts were better quality. I would want to see any 5 year old 991 up on a ramp to inspect it closely to determine longevity of known weak points...good luck. Ian
