Time to spec the A7 - any essential options?
Discussion
This is my first ever Audi so just looking for some advise from Audi owners on what they'd pick from their own experiences. Doing 25k miles annually and will probably keep for 4 years
It's a new 2018 A7 so a bit of a stab in the dark as not tried one yet. These are the options I'll be picking already, just need some help with some other bits:
50 TDI S-Line
Probably boring silver
Laser Light upgrade to matrix LED
Comfort & Sound Pack (360 camera, bang and olufsen sound and advance key)
Privacy Glass
Dimming Mirrors
Tour Pack (the self driving option keeping it in lane and adaptive cruise control)
73L fuel tank
First deliberation is interior trim. Is the alcantara okay? I've always had leather and would have preferred an Ivory type trim to lighten up the cabin as will not choose a panoramic roof. They do offer Roter grey, can't tell how light this will be but can't say grey sounds appealing on the face of it.
Suspension. This is a costly one and really umming and arghing. It's rides as standard as sports suspension and on standard 20" alloys. There are 4 suspension options, normal, sports, adaptive steel springs or finally air suspension.
I've not tried adaptive steel or air suspension yet on any car but heard good things. With the state of our roads I'd probably look to spec one of the two to try make it ride more comfrotably. Just not sure if air is worth twice the price of adaptive. My local dealer didn't seem to rate too highly and said they've only ordered the adaptive steel on their demo car.

Watching with interest as the new A7 looks pretty cool and I haven't driven yet either. I was toying with the idea of eventually replacing my TT with a high-spec A5, but an A7 could make more sense as there seems to be very little difference in the price for same engine/ equipment.
From your list I'd probably prioritise the Tour Pack as it would definitely complete the package nicely as a long distance cruiser. I think they might've been sneaky and made power folding mirrors a £150 extra too?
Also what sort of range do you think the 73L fuel tank will give?

£150 for mirros indeed. They do fold automatically as standard, it's just the dimming at night as so many people have dodgy headlights it's nice to have them not blinding in your mirror it's worth choosing for me.From your list I'd probably prioritise the Tour Pack as it would definitely complete the package nicely as a long distance cruiser. I too was originally looking at the A5 segment of car, but would of picked a 3.0. The cost upgrade to a the A7 is mostly recouped in resale (hopefully from my research), whereas a lot of the upgraded from 2.0 to 3.0 is lost on A5 size of car.
The tank in only £110 more for the extra 10 litres. This is purely laziness so that I should hopefully get 700+ miles out of the tank so only have to fuel once a week. Probably only get's 100 miles more
