just watched tonight with trevor mcdoughnut!
asylum seekers hanging around calais, mostly afghan/iraqi/iranian men! if they are that worried why are thier wives and children not with them?
why did one of them hit one of the french female volunteers who was there to feed them and knocked her out cold?
and if france is really that bad that these chaps need to get to britain for safety, should france be a member of the eu.?

The French have a truly dispicable approach to this problem - ie they quietly encourage these people to come to Britain. Utterly disgraceful and immoral.

But then the French Govt. has always been utterly self-centred, arrogant and corrupt.

I think it's time we went to war against them...it's long overdue.

Seems to be standard practise - the head of the family goes out to 'test the waters'. Makes sense I suppose - if one person can't find work, why should he subject his family to poverty? Also, it's easier to clear one application than three plus.

I personally don't see the problem, is that not the right way to do it? people are just bitter that they are first in line to be dolled out a good bit of shite. I doubt that we would have any problems if the asylum seekers were left for the French to deal with.
