Okay....

I'm on a golf trip for the next 7 days to Italy...

Sunny evening, finished work late...

PUB / Cook Vs Hoon / Take Away....

Guess who won.!

Through the lanes Thatcham, Newbury A4... End up behind BOY in his Bling Saxo....!

In no hurry in traffic, Saxo boy big zaust gives it large....(tw@t)

Follow at slow speed, down high street, 2nd gear I floor it hit rev limiter, pop / bang / pop / Flame....

He stops...

I over take = Big grin.

Off we go again, he follows.

Through the town, 2nd gear back end stepping out, loads of noise everyone looking..... Not the sort of thing a TVR owner would ever do don't you know.....

Saxo boy turns up as I get out....

"Whats that..? it sounds Gorjus...!!"

"Its a TVR"

"A What..? What's it go like"

"Well...! its a 1.2 litre V6, I replied, goes like $hit off a shovel..."

"wow, I've gotta get me one of dose...!"

Heh! I can relate to that well! Being in my early 30`s and still hanging on to my youth, I sometimes make the short journey across the water to the Southend cruise. 100`s of boy racers in their Saxo`s and Nova`s with big boy exhausts......Then I cruise along and blip the S2`s throttle!! Everybody turns round in awe! Nothing like a TVR exhaust note reverberating off the amusement buildings to stir the soul and shut the kiddies up!

Saw something amusing today. In Yeovil, followed a black 1.2 Corsa with a wing on the back and, count them, 4(!!!) baked bean can exhaust pipes - two each side.

One for each cylinder!

And to think, TVR fobbed us off with only two. Surely that contravenes our human rights?

I also saw the funniest thing in Yeovil! Old fiesta, blokey had cut a hole about 1.5 feet in diameter in the boot door, stuck a huge pipe in (to fill the hole) and diverted his exhausts to this pipe!!!

Needless to say, a fiesta with what looks like a jet engine in the boot attracts a lot of attention, of the wrong sort. everyone in the whole car park, was openly laught at this guy!!!

Is it me, or does Yeovil have a higher than normal concentration of 'boyz' & their (cr@p) 'carz'!?!?

You've been had... TVR never made a 1.2 V-anything, must be very rare, where did you get it? could be worth a fortune!!

I've got a straight through system on the S now and is makes an ear bleeding noise through tunnels and I fitted a pair of track day inserts recently to quieten it down a bit but I must admit that I'm very tempted to take them out

I live about 3 miles from Yeovil(e) and yes it has a huge number of Maxxed wheelie bins. They can sometimes be seen trying to get attention by circling around McDonalds car park then going into Safeway car park to rev their 'engines'. It really is very sad to watch.

I've noticed a larger number of be-capped bleached blondes wearing too much make-up and spluttering their tawdry way around the town in the last year in a variety of Maxxed hand-me-downs. Tesco must be paying their checkout staff more. I've even seen two in a canary yellow Cinquecento with what looks like the tail from a 747 on the back. Any power the engine may have given would have been drained completely at any speed over 20. Some people have vitamin difficiency - boy and girl racers seem to have downforce difficiency.
