Hi All,

I am thinking of getting a Giulia Quadrifoglio (the best 4 door in the world...) and had a fairly prosaic question as the dealer I spoke to wasn't sure of the answer... is the sat nav the same as a stand alone Tomtom with regard to their Live Services, especially traffic info and speed cameras?

Thanks for any help.

It has a speed camera database and TMC but no user access to Live services or any cellular connection for updates and/or live traffic info.

Just to add as well, the speed camera alerts only warn when you are navigating in a route so be careful!

And mine, shows the traffic jams when I am navigating, and it tells me when it finds a quicker route, where's it getting this info from then? It seems very similar to tomtom live.

If you ever undertake one of AR's software upgrades you will see that they use tomtom for the satnav functions. From memory tomtom make upgrades every 3 months.... so an occasional AR update helps.

Spec it with Android Auto and you'll never use the inbuilt sat nav!

Is the correct answer! I can't imagine ever spec'ing Nav in any vehicle every again, unless it was a requirement to get the bigger screen or something. Pointless these days IMO.
