Coming from a TVR background, I'm used to waving at fellow owners and the general banter when spotted.

I've yet to meet another Maserati on the road (although I did see a 4200 pulling out behind me last night in the dark!), but just wondered if there was as much camaraderie?

Cheers,
Michael

I live in Surrey, so I'll wave if I see you.

I don't own a Maserati, but remember me if you see a blue 300ZX with a waving idiot at the wheel

I've only encountered an indifferent smirk!

In fact a quattroporte owner passed me last week in the city and looked sickened that I acnowledged him.

QP owners are a different breed.

Coupe/3200 drivers do wave in my experience

I've waved to (and got a wave from)a 3200 driver in Buxton, and in a jam on the M6 a 4200 pulled alongside and the driver wound down his window to say he wish he'd got my rear lights.

Note for the pedantics - when I say he wound down the window, he pressed a button, but you know what I mean!

I wave or flash, this include TVR, Ferrari, lotus e.t.c
old cars too.

Never in the MINI as most people don't know your a sad car junkie

Funny, when i first got the MINI eveyone waved/flashed. If you did that now you would get repetetive stress damage :|

When coming out of the City (of London)daily, I encounter the usual Canary Wharf Banker/Trader exodous coming the other way out of the Limehouse Link tunnel, main mode of transport, the Porsche Taxi, but I also regulary encounter a silver and a blue QP along with a blue Coupe. I do try to acknowledge them in my humble darth-vader Gransport, but they are all either completely oblivious or want to ignore me (I don't think I have a complex here).

Come on guys, a friendly nod will do!!!

I've got a loner 4200 GT 05 plate in red from Graypaul whilst the 360 is fixed (it's my daily driver), and I saw a red QP in Castleford the other day. Gave him a flash and got a wave back, so thier not all bad.
