all changed a bit from when i was racing for the University of the West of England back in 2000.... it wasnt quite as competitive then...it was about turning up and using the hire karts (usually pro karts) at the circuit! i have never met so many boring students in my life though. we tried everything from turning up in fancy dress to lengthy sessions on the beer in order to liven up the championship! all to no avail....
i think it was a case of "when students were racing drivers" rather than "when racing drivers are students"
