All Ideas wanted ! Although I do like going out from Putney.

My current favourite roads as an idea;

Going north I like the m40 turn off for beaconsfield then A roads towards Amersham and wendover on a413 and continuing out towards Hardwick and swanbourne

South down he A3 and turn off at Milford and take A283 south chiddingfold and petworth and also A286 towards Goodwood.

It's hard to find a good road in the south !

Best Biking Roads dot com will provide inspiration.

Take the M4 to the A34 junction. Head for Chieveley village and get on the B4494 to Wantage. Relax a little on the A417 to Faringdon. B4095 and B4020 to Burford. Go carefully over the B4095 bridge just before the Thames at Radcot - you'll be airborne and ground out over 40 mph. A424 to Stow on the Wold then A436 past Daylesford (stop for an overpriced coffee) to the A3400. Either turn right and head for the A361 which is fun back to Swindon or turn left until you get to the A429 and head south. The A361 and A429 are trunk roads so best done early in the morning.

If you didn't have a supercar I'd recommend a few other nice but rougher roads like the B4425 Cirencester to Burford road and the road from Cirencester to Siddington that becomes the B4696 to Ashton Keynes to Wootton Bassett. Then Broad Town, Broad Hinton, across the A4361 up Hackpen Hill to Marlborough. The A4 east from there will be more hooning friendly if the camera vans stay away. Before Newbury take the B4000 north west heading for Lambourn then B4001 to Wantage. Back down the B4494 to Chieveley & Newbury.
