Good evening all,

Long time lurker but first post so please bare with me and a big hello to everyone :-)

Having braved the Beast from The East on Wednesday to make the trip from North Devon to East London, I am now the proud owner of this stunning 430. It was the first LCI 4 series that Stephen James Bromley ordered so they went to town with the options list including:
-Cognac leather (every car I viewed was either boring black or unpractical white, had coral previously so the tan is a lovely change, really compliments the black exterior for a luxury image)
-Icon adaptive LED lights (can’t get over the technology in these things, literally incredible.
-M sport plus pack
-HUD
-Sunroof
-Driver comfort package (comfort access etc)
-Advanced parking package
-Apple CarPlay
-Speed limit detection
-Ash grain wood trim (looks amazing, really classy finish)

Having come from a manual 420d I didn’t think there could be much improvement in the 3.0 but how wrong I was, the 6 is super smooth and so much torque it’s immense.

Unfortunately the snow is limiting my driving time but RWD and ice isn’t ideal.

Thanks for reading, will keep this post updated as and when.

You can't go telling us how good the interior is and then post no pics of it hehe

Great spec OP.
Just a word of caution, you may want to disable the keyless entry bearing in mind how easy BMW's with keyless entry are to steal.

Great upgrade OP.

I’m going to collect my LCI F30 330d tomorrow coming from a pre-LCI F30 320d manual so pretty much the same swap as you. Can’t wait.

You honestly won’t regret the decision! I had to cross London traffic c1.5hrs and then did 180 miles Home (motorway 70%, A roads 20%, B roads 10%) and achieve 49mpg!! Amazing package it really is :-)

The led lights are superb on these, the way it blocks certain areas of light is nothing short of freaky. I think the 430d is nicer than the 435d, it's much smoother in its power delivery, although I'd always go for a 435i

Finally managed to give the new car a good detail and a couple coats of Autoglym HD wax for some extra protection.
Let me know what you think! smile

Well after 3 brilliant years where the cars been nothing but faultless, a change in job role with the addition of a company car means this cars now surplus. Any idea where’s best to advertise?

Don’t seem to be getting much traffic through autotrader for some reason! Any advice or tips? Stick it on here?

How long has it been on AT for?

I've sold a few cars on there in recent years and have had an OK response, sold in around 2 to 3 weeks in each case iirc.

I'd definitely suggest advertising in the classifieds here as for me at least its always been a go to when buying.

It's a well specced car compared to others so probably just need to wait a few weeks for interest to build and I guess Jan is possibly not a great month and particularly with lockdown at the moment.

Been on for a couple of months now, have taken private plate off now so hopefully that will help! My friends garage have got it on their forecourt just haven’t got the time to be dealing with time wasters!

Will stick an add on here and see if that helps push it along as well. If I didn’t have to take a company car I’d be keeping it, in a 70 plate 330e and it’s got absolutely nothing on the 430d!
