440i GranCoupe
Discussion
My car history is rather short. As a student I had a Ford Escort then moved onto a Lexus IS200 when I left uni, which I ran for 10 years but then work dictated that a diesel was needed - chopped the IS200 for a W204 Mercedes C220cdi Sport which I ran for 7 years.
The Mercedes started to chuck up some big bills at 10 years old I decided enough was enough and the Mercedes had to go. I no longer did the big miles and decided the replacement car had to be a petrol.
Step up the BMW 440i Grandcoupe. It's a 17 plate BMW AUC and it came with delivery miles. Had it for 4 months now and done 4k in it now and simply it's fantastic. The B58 engine is fantastic - both powerful and economical.
Pics:

Specwise it's pretty good but it wasn't spec'd with HK audio. Thought I could live with standard system but it had to be replaced. Went for Vibe upgrade mids and sub speaker system and also I had added in tweeters housed in OEM tweeter covers. In addition to the speaker upgrade I had a Vibe 800w amp fitted - now it sounds much better.
Amp:

Tempted by the MPPSK but funds don't allow at the moment. Black kidney grills will also go on at some point.
Cheers

Stunning car OP. I went though something similar to you but chose a 340i touring instead as I'm planning for a family next year and felt the lip over the arches to on the back seats were too annoying.
Great colour combination too I went for mineral Grey and red leather inside. I too want the mppsk but like you funds don't allow.

Ah nice, you got the same deal as me. How are you liking the exhaust?
Loving it! Been chucking it down with rain over the last day or so I haven’t exploited the full extra increase in power yet (360bhp, rwd and summer tyres on 20” rft’s not ideal in the heavy rain)However loving the pops and bangs of the mppsk. Only went for this as the deal offered by BMW York - feels like I’ve stolen it at the offer they were doing the mppsk’s for 😊
