Just had a very unpleasant drive on the M6 with a non functioning screen wash.

The reservoir is full. The h/lamp wash works fine (I assume they are on the same motor?) and the nozzles on the bonnet edge are unblocked (I poked them with a pin.) I’ve discounted freezing as it’s a 50/50 screenwash mix and after 2 hrs on the m/way it would have thawed out. The tubes are connected under the bonnet to the mechanism (they’ve not popped off, nor are there any obvious blockages.)

And before someone points out the obvious, yes, both washer bottles are full (why they are separate for headlamp and screen is beyond me....)

Anyone got any solutions? I need to drive it tomorrow!

The pumps for windows & headlamps are different.

Two separate bottles either side of the engine bay.

Or at least that’s the case on my 2017 S4 595.

Yes I’m aware of the two bottles, but didn’t think they would go to the bother of two pumps?

Every FCA product I’ve owned with a headlight washer system has separate pumps.

Turn the lights off and pull the stalk. That should activate the screen pump.

Turn the lights on, do the same. Or stick your head under the bonnet while a pal does the same.
