Mazda MX5 & TVR Griffith
Discussion
I've been a reader of the forums for a while, but only recently joined since I bought my latest car.
Got my first car a few days after passing my test back in 2008, still have it as a daily driver:

I've always liked TVRs and been looking for a while, but only seriously fairly recently.
Found this Griffith 500 at Tony Gilbert Cars in Napton, went back the following week for a test drive and promptly stuck a deposit down.

Loved every moment of it so far.
If anyone is on the lookout for a TVR, then I'd highly recommend giving Tony Gilbert a call. Gave plenty of space and time for me to have a look around, along with a cup of tea, very knowledgeable and helpful too.

I had a similar experience with him when I got my first TVR back in 2016. Very friendly chap and clearly a huge TVR/car enthusiast, not just a salesman. Must have spent as long discussing his other car projects as we did the TVR in question, and his hospitality was excellent. Called him up some 18 months later to ask something about the car's history and he couldn't have been more helpful. Was also asking how I had been getting on with the car and any interesting road-trips I had been on etc. He also re-iterated his desire to buy the car back again should I ever wish to sell in the future.
You do pay a bit of a premium, but I will definitely look there first if I ever decide to 'upgrade'.
