I just poked my nose into my bank account and noticed a certian direct debit had not been withdrawn.

After about a nanosecond of thinking, I realised what it was:

Almost 10 years after leaving University, I have finally paid off that millstone-round-my-neck of a Student Loan!!!

Nice one! I'm just amazed they stopped the DD automatically and didn't keep taking it until you noticed in 5 years time and then spent the rest of your life trying to get the overpayment back...
