can any readers help me track down a Westfield 11, ideally on A-series running gear..... either ideas of where to look or details of specific cars.... it's a shame they stopped making them it was a beatiful, well-made replica. Does anyone have any feedback on Westfield 11 ownership also??
thanks

"Lotus Eleven replica by Westfield. Factory built superb attention to detail. Period switches, instruments, etc. BRG, 145bhp 1700 crossflow, twin Webers. Mated to 5 speed gearbox. 17,500 miles only, new MOT/tax, ready to enjoy. Offered at fraction of build cost. £8,950. Tel: John Heda (02380) 556300 or (07836) 263471"
Might be worth a ring

Best one I saw had a Talbot Sunbeam (big Imp) motor which looked just like the original Coventry Climax.
The original came in a number of versions, with or without De Dion rear end and with a choice of Ford Sidevalve, BMC A Series or Coventry Climax motor.
George Bishop, 'gentleman' muttering rotter used one as a daily road car for some time, his weather equipment was not as elegant as the car itself.
If you can't find a Westfield a similarly bodied LoCost kit is about to hit the streets. The Corgi model is however cheaper and costs less to run, wish I hadn't lost mine.
