can any readers help me track down a Westfield 11, ideally on A-series running gear..... either ideas of where to look or details of specific cars.... it's a shame they stopped making them it was a beatiful, well-made replica. Does anyone have any feedback on Westfield 11 ownership also??

thanks

Classic and Sportscar magazine have had one on their fleet of cars for the last few months.

They occasionally appear in both Autosport (one a couple of weeks ago) and C&S.

Best one I saw had a Talbot Sunbeam (big Imp) motor which looked just like the original Coventry Climax.

The original came in a number of versions, with or without De Dion rear end and with a choice of Ford Sidevalve, BMC A Series or Coventry Climax motor.

George Bishop, 'gentleman' muttering rotter used one as a daily road car for some time, his weather equipment was not as elegant as the car itself.

If you can't find a Westfield a similarly bodied LoCost kit is about to hit the streets. The Corgi model is however cheaper and costs less to run, wish I hadn't lost mine.
