My barber drives a Citroen BX.

Having nothing better to do I have been recording the types of cars driven by the male hairdressers in my area.

I'm saying nothing for now but lets have a few well considered unbiased typical PH views on the subject of Hairdresser's cars.

Over to you chaps....

Didn't we have this thread last week?

Of course it could be entirely a figment of my odd imagination..

No you're quite right, how did I miss it, must have been the day I was abducted by aliens.

Oh well I shall not have to say 3 Jeeps, two TVRs both Chimps, a new Mini Cooper and a Humber Super Snipe Hearse.

What use has a Gnome got for a hairdresser anyway?

I have two mates that are barbers. One drives a Porsche 996 and a big bike and the other a Rover...

nothing effete about that!

You are quite correct, we did, and it died a lonely death because I identified Big M's hairdresser.....

Um, not necessarily... 996, BMW C1 and Rover 25 seem pretty girly to me

I thought it compulsory to drive an MX-5.

But what would I know.

I started the last thread with the tale of a local hairdresser who has a brand new 911, before that he had a SL280, and before that a 996 targa, and his prices aren't bad, but I get racegirl to cut my hair anyway, 2 styles available, short, and shorter

Frankly it's not a profession I welcome amongst my friends, nor one that I would boast about........

I think MGF's and Mark 1 MR2's + that Fiat thing also have to be included as compulsory 'drives'

I presume you mean the Vitara JLX with the wideboy body kit...?

I used to have Vitaras but never had the bodykit cos I wouldnt be able to pit it up the drive.

I now have a GV2000 and thats not very Hairdressery although I do "Nicky Clarke" Roops hair.

I was going to say the TT, but thought it might offend some of our numbmer! Should we qualify that by saying the 'diet' single exhaust TT?

A couple of hairdressers live a few door down the road from me (husband & wife in case you're wondering) and have.... MX5 & TT (lite).

Before they bought the TT, I took him out for a spin in the Griff, as they were interested in TVRs. - Perhaps my driving put him off!?
