Thought you might be interested in my little collection. I’ve always been fortunate to have some great cars, but I seem to have gone a little bit mad recently (or so my wife thinks) and have probably more than I should have.

This is my 4.5LW Cerbera. Owned since 2003 and will doubtless continue to own it for many more years. It’s a wonderful machine and still makes me smile every time I drive it. My first wife – or so Mrs Pottman says.

Here’s my daily driver, mostly seen on the M25, but what a way to commute.

It’s my third M3. I like green cars.

I said I liked green cars. And what a thing this is. If it weren’t for the fuel bills I could almost be tempted to ditch the M3 and just use this to commute, but then I might spoil it. Caramel interior, 76k miles. Wonderful.

Just in case my trousers are on fire I have recently acquired this.

Upgraded last year from a 997.2 C4S last year and it really is quite a flying machine – where conditions allow of course.

At other end of the performance spectrum is my Jaguar 420. It’s the same age as me and is especially at home at the Goodwood Revival or wafting around the countryside. Not perfect, but a splendid way to travel nonetheless.

My Mini is also a great way to get around, albeit in a slightly more cramped, wind in the hair way. I’ve had this for almost as long as my Cerbera and with just 23k miles it’s quite special, not necessarily to everyone's taste but each to their own.

A lot more special than MrsPottman’s Golf GTE which I’m not posting pictures of.

Thanks for looking

hippy

Excellent. I can't afford to move home - spent all my money on 98RON.

Good question. I seem to have managed to avoid "January-itis" whereby I always end up acquiring my cars at the start of the year.

Part of me wonders whether I should trim the collection down and buy something extravagant (think 570GT or Ferrari FF).

On the other hand I'm really happy with what I've got now, I've got a car for all my needs (even the Golf GTE serves a purpose).

All that being said, my motorbike needs an MOT soon and the Ducati Diavel looks very appealing.

Wow, fantastic collection OP. thumbup

Well apart from the last one - I've never liked any Mini prior to the BMW ones!

Love the 420 Jag - back in the early 70s a school class-mate's mother had one that I got a lift in once or twice, and she drove it like she stole it! laugh

That’s the type of storage I could do with, but with property prices the way they are in London I would need to sell all of my fleet just to be able to afford it.
