...and then take it away with them

I've come to end of my admittedly short tether with my Peugeot 106 XS after the garage rung me today to say that instead of a head gasket it actually requires a new engine... great. just what I always wanted.

I have a dilemma though: spend £175 on the engine (already sourced) + £200 labour to put it in, or sell the thing and cut my losses...it's worth £500ish but I'm in two minds though because it's in nice condition... why do I have no luck with cars!

well that'd be true about the mini (fair play) but I only got to drive 11 miles in the pug before the engine broke and it's been stood idle ever since while I got organised to fix it!

I wouldn't mind so much if i'd actually had a chance to rag it!

Perhaps it knew what was in store for it and it commited suicide?

Although I seem to recall it went bang whilst crusing at a speed probably in excess of what the handbook would refer to as "top speed"...any comments??!

Does the Mi16 fit?
