So my mini was written off whilst parked in the street. Bloody drunk driver in a stolen car.

Anyway, I'm looking for a new one. Got upto £800 to spend but want something I can quickly MOT or a rolling project. Needs to be a good solid base more than anything. I've looked on ebay, auotrader and some of the rest but haven't been impressed yet. I live in Hull and will travel upto about 80 miles for the right car

I'm open to offers and ideas.

Ive been watching ebay for ages now, and i think you'll be very disappointed with what you can find with £800...

Going to be selling my Flame soon was going to ask about £1000 but might take an offer, need to get the engine in first though. Seems it’s getting harder to find a nice cheap mini now, then again I had loads of trouble finding a decent 1275 for the flame, ending up buying a whole Metro with MOT and tax just for it’s engine, even they are fetching top money, no more £30 for a running MG

A mate has a studio for £1200, quite tidy, but in Dorset though. My first mini was £230, K reg, but it deceased long before the tax exempt rules, how i wish id kept that. Every mini i've been interested in has either sold straight away or seemed pricey but they wouldnt budge on price. Never got a single phone call when i advertised my 1380, not a single time waster, so ive started to strip it down to a bare shell and do it exactly how i want it.

I have a silver mini had a new 1380 engine fitted by a reputable mini dealer only just run in 800miles since the swap.. I have spent over £6000 in the last year on parts: roll cage uprated brakes bucket seats suspension the list goes on and on and on.. but I have a new project so I am unwillingly letting it go for just under £2000 you will not find a better deal than this anywhere.. and if you do I'll refund the difference!!! has MOT and tax..

I've noticed the rise in mini prices, even rotten crap is fetching top whack. They are getting a bit thin on the ground. 1 pointer www.adtrader.co.uk
