2018 Dubai 24hr

So this weekend sees the 2018 edition of the Dubai 24hr race. Now for the big shock, for the 1st time since 2010 I will not be at the event as we (ZRT Motorsport) have decided not to enter mainly due the ever increasing risk of an accident with there being more top class cars than before (and fewer slower class cars). Entry is still free and the best place to park is by the main grandstand and use the tunnel to get to the pits. The race starts at 2pm on Friday.

All is not lost as I will be running 8-10 drag racing bikes in Bahrain on Thursday and Friday night and 6 bikes in the Bahrain 600cc track championship on Saturday.

I land in Dubai at 7am on Saturday morning, picking up the hire car and heading straight for the track!
