Pump or the switch or wiring then.
Have you checked for 12v at the pump when operating it?

No I’ve got no knowledge of mechanical or electrics on cars it happened before and I think VW Mechanic just disconnected one of the battery leads and I’m sure he asked me to turn the steering on full lock to both sides he reconnected the battery and job done I may well be wrong on this so don’t shoot me down Lol
Merry Xmas

Can you hear the pump?
Do you have water going to the rear wiper? (If you have a rear wiper).
Is there washer fluid dripping down to the floor after a good long squirt?

I've a Touran and the hose by the bonnet hinge had split through.

Turning the wheel recalibrates the steering position sensor after disconnecting battery

If you've no knowledge, competence or willingness to look at it yourself then just take it to a garage.

Bit pointless asking for ideas if you aren't going to do anything with them IMHO.

You’ve probably tried to use the washer jets when they are frozen. You’ve tripped the motor and it needs to be reset. This happens on the Caddy quite often this time of year. Purchase the correct VW spec screen wash, arrive at your van 10 minutes earlier than usual and let your engine warm up beforehand, thus warming the washer system.

Don’t use the washer jets or wipers when the van is frozen!

I thought it worth replying to this thread, as I too had an issue with no windscreen washers on a Caddy 2016MY after a really cold spell of -13 degrees.
It turns out there is no protection fuse for the washer pump - instead the control module monitors the pump current draw! - too much current draw due to frozen/seized pump and the module will log a fault and switch the pump off - and the pump will only work again if the fault code is cleared!
(code 00897 logged via VCDS) Once the fault code is cleared the pump will work ok.

Also when searching the internet, I could not find any reference or information relating to this fault and I'm not sure whether a generic fault code reader will find or clear this fault?

Hope this helps?
