Singletrack Magazine - any good?
Discussion
I’ve not been able to find it in any shops local to me, not a surprise given it’s aimed at more subscription only sales I know. But is it any good? Is it the standard 1 or 2 ride articles then endless product testing or do they focus more in the riding story side of things as the title would suggest?
Tempted to get a subscription and give it a go but some opinions would be good to hear first.
Cheers chaps and chapette’s.

I've been a subscriber since the beginning. The product test to actual stories about riding ratio is very much in favour of the latter.
You could buy a single copy from the online shop to get a feel for whether it's for you or not if you don't want to commit fully - http://singletrackworld.com/shop/

It's a nice magazine, but it is fully in the aspirational camp. The riding trips they talk about aren't a weekend in the peak district, more of "yeah, spent a month riding somewhere where people have never even seen a bike before, because I'm great". Lovely photography bit it's all a bit beyond the reach of mere mortals for me.
The home page of pinkbike seems to cover everything the magazines do so hardly ever read magazines any more.

t but STW has managed to avoid going all “Get! Faster! Now!” and stick to interesting articles about riding. Photography can be good too.
