He's my go to guy too. Spent a few quid there over the years. Also Tensport Performance in Rawtenstall is new on the scene and very knowledgeable on Hondas - good chums with Stevie at Grinspeed tooRide quality grating on you yet?
I am driving from Glasgow to Plymouth a week on Saturday and Plymouth back to Glasgow a few days later ... not sure how much I will love the car after that!
I have ordered a M2 stainless steel rear exhaust section to sort my rattling backbox too. First production run getting imported from Japan by TDI North, and modular so you can order the rear section only and fit it to the stock system, and replacing the front section at a later date. Single exit, so hopefully not too loud!

You are having a better time of it than me then! I bought a bit of a dog. Drinks oil, apparently poorly maintained. I can't seem to get heat to come out of the central vents, but I think that is a design flaw...though I spent sixty quid on parts to try and fix it!

Looks a good example. They tend to use oil in big gulps than slowly sip at it. Stays level for weeks and then next thing, half the dip stick level is gone, with seemingly no rhyme or reason.
This makes sense. I thought it was perhaps it used it when I thrashed it but it may just be random - sometimes loses loads very quickly.I owned an FN2 for about 8 months. Is yours the GT? (AC and cruise control) Red is by far the best colour and the boot is pretty big.
Seats were fantastic and that engine is wonderful. I fear for your gear change though as that is known fault with the box on the FN2 and I remember reading about it at the time and it was a box rebuild job at about £1k, Fixes may have improved since then.
I got rid of mine following a lifestyle change (Dog and pregnant wife). Ride was awful and even Mrs Bakerstreet commented on it.
Great looking car though and more creature comforts compared to the EP3.

Mines a bit like that. I'm using a 5w 30 though. Most specialists (Not Honda dealers though!) recommend a 5w 40. I use that in my Ep3 too and its better. Was the4 same case in my 330ci - drank 30 grade, was fine on 40 grade. So I'm going to go to 5w 40 Millers nanodrive for my Fn2 (pcv valve has been done, £40 and ten minute job on your drive)
