Whats the Italian for heaven?
Discussion
Went darn sarf to meet up with James Ketchell for a few days this week and we took the G for a bit of a hoon around the coast. Coming up a hill we spot a Murcielago indicating to join our road. We stop and let him out. Quick wave then the Murcie boots it up the road, followed by James flooring it. 11.2 litres, two tubis and 1170 bhp launching up a tree lined road.
THAT is heaven imo....

Sh!t Rico, when I first saw this post I thought you were actually sharing one of your wet dreams with us
James, did Ric's get out your car OK?.....Muncher??? You still having nightmares from VMAX chap???
I think I'll need councelling to get over the emotional trauma of seeing Rico's gaping arse crack....
I thought one of these was going to be required at one point...
Looks good James. Black or orange Gallardo's are the best colours IMO. Want one much more than Murcielago (great as it is) because the size makes it a better proposition in the real world. Hopefully cheaper to run too, was surprised to hear that Murcie's clutches are still so expensive - £6k!
Running costs been OK on yours?

I still think the Merci has something over the Gallardo on looks, but in terms of use on UK roads then theres no contest. I took Rico down some back roads near where I live and there are places where you would have to pull over in a wider car to let through oncoming traffic.
Running costs have been pretty much what i expected so far, with the exception of a clutch replacement at 1200 miles. After some arguing with lambo they finally did the replacement under warranty. (£4k)
I'm just approaching my second service now, so fingers crossed nothing major is needed.
All in all I've loved every minute of the car. No plans to replace it in the near future.
