Morning chaps, my mate has offered me a non date submariner 2010, box papers non ceramic for 4400 GBP, ive looked on watch finder and the prices seem to be all over the place, is this a good price do you think?
He says its in excellent condition with no marks on the bezel, I haven't seen it in the flesh yet.

Box, papers, age, serviced, spare links? Many factors affect a watch's value.

Yes, has both inner and outer box and papers, not sure if its been serviced or not, spare link is already in the strap i believe.

That seems like a fair price if the watch checks out. I've got a 2007 non date Sub, Box etc, had it serviced by Rolex last year so still plenty of warranty left on it and I'm looking for £5k for it. I don't 'need' to sell it so I'm happy to enjoy it in the meantime. It's a great watch.

If you bought that watch for £4,400, you could have a Rolex service done for £550, have the peace of mind of a two year warranty and a watch for life.

If it`s complete (box / papers etc) and great condition It`s never going to be worth less, the pre ceramic no date Subs have a huge following, where as once they might have been seen as the "cheapest Sub" they are now seen as THE classic Sub!
