auto breitling stopping over night
Discussion
I went into hospital the end of September, left my Chronomat GMT at home, and ended up there for 9 days. Obviously the watch was dead when I got out. I gave it a good hand wind and been wearing it ever since. But it keeps stopping during the night while I’m wearing it. Do I need to send it in under warranty? Or has anyone any other suggestions to the cause? It’s previously been sent back twice for losing time then for stopping completely, so it’s not been brilliant tbf.

Yes.Could be a problem with the auto-winder or the mainspring. If you really care to know which, fully wind it with the winder, set it on the bedside table and see how long the power reserve is. If it's silly short: mainspring. If it's ~36 hrs: self winder.
It happens.
