its funny - were all crying about '6000' jobs...
well, the goverment paid their wages for a week (at the cost of £6.5 million of our taxes) and did they say thankyou, no, were they at all greatful, no...
and then they get sent home, on that pay from the goverment!
Now they are protesting in Downing street?
I remember the high tech market crash from a few years ago - i worked for a company that went down the toilet (due to the market NOT shoddy workmanship) - did the goverment give me an extra weeks wages? no, did the govemerment help me at all? no..
And neither did the goverment help the other 10's of thousands that lost their jobs...
yet - these 6,000 (probably the same ones who used to strike) somehow think they deserve to have their company that builds bad cars, they cant sell, and eats tens of millions a month, financed by the general public...
give me a break!

We can't blame the great unwashed. It's not their fault the company they worked for was run badly, and that includes the infrastucture for creating a small wooden box with suggestions written on it (maybe there was, but the little slips of paper were fed into the heating system for the smoked glass tower).
The little people probably joined the company through rigorous interviews and broom hopping and genuinely believed they were working for a company they could be proud of.
Windfall tax my arse, it's life.
Dog eat dog (see my dog roast recipe).

s a region up though. The Gov step in with some cash but just think the cost of 6000 plus 10k (suppliers) all claiming benefits for a year. And the knockon effect their spending or lack off has on the local economy.
