Ok I know this is probabally a daft question but I have 3 questions ref stuff on the threads-

1- what does O/T mean?

2- how do you edit some one elses babble and put it in your own reply about that topic?

3- where do people get all the little icons like the pac man face drinking beer or head butting a wall?

Off Topic

Click the "quote" icon that's to the right of their name and time in the posting

You'll see that you put [ quote ] [ /quote ] (without the spaces betweent the brackets) around what you want quoted.

3- where do people get all the little icons like the pac man face drinking beer or head butting a wall?

When you are editing the message - click on the "Smiles legend" link to the left of the main window and all will be revealed.

O/T means Off Topic. ie: not to do with TVR/Sports cars

To quote someone click the "quote" icon in the top left of the message you want to quote from.

Smilies are accessable by clicking the smiles legend button on the left of the message box and folowing the instructions there.

Easy!!

Bugger, you all beat me to it!!!

1.) O/T means OffTopic, and includes everything non-website related contents

2.) use the -Button to get the quote in your input field

3.)click on Smilies Legend left off the input field. A window will open and shows text-strings for each icon. Type them in your input-field an have a Preview

That or nothing better to do, or I am sure in some cases, avoiding the "something better" by hanging out here. We should ask Ted for a chat room!
