I have a bent chassis and so I'm after a jig to buy (preferable) , borrow or rent to work out if it's repairable or not...

Anyone got one surplus to requirements ?

Cheers

..go on then...will you part with it ?

If yes , what is its history, has it been repaired ? and the BIG question, how much do you want for it ?? !

Thanks

The chassis is from the ex Richard/Rachel Finney car, raced by Philip Keen in 2003.

Between the 2003/4 seasons the Keens completely rebuilt the car from scratch, including a new chassis.

The spare chassis I have is the original and is undamaged (other than a very slight dent to the rear of the driver's outrigger. This is only visible with the body off and has no effect on the chassis or suspension pick ups points). Chris Keen commented that in retrospect the chassis did not need to be changed - and indeed the spare is better than the chassis I have on my current race car.

However, the chassis is part of an overall spares pack (which is the majority of a car) and I am loathe to split the package. I am prepared to sell the lot and have a list of parts which are included. If anyone is interested please e mail me via my profile and I will let you have the list and the price.

Regards

Andy
