I saw a Toyota at my local supermarket (name omitted to avoid PH ridicule) registered in Victoria, Australia. I’m guessing it was a personal import rather than an extremely long road trip! Has anyone else seen cars registered in far-flung countries?

I saw this Ontario registered Bora in the Croatian city of Pula. Certainly surprised me at the time!

Ha ha, that's amazing. I don't know who on earth would go to the trouble of shipping a Corolla around to the other side of the world. Unless they drove it over!

Obvs not a car but got speaking with the utterly bonkers Aussie owner of this Multistrada.

In Faro.

The bike was registered in British Columbia.

It’s travelled 49 of the US states. Iceland. Norway down to Portugal and he was heading to Gibraltar that day.

189,000 miles on the clock.

Legend.

A few years ago, I used to regularly see middle east registered cars in Manchester, but not seen one for ages. I saw a US registered 911 on the Peage in France once.

I've driven my UK car to Morocco twice, but not sure that's excessive treme enough for this thread.

This was parked in my gym’s car park. Quite an effort to drive from China to the Home Counties.

I saw a UK registered Porsche Cayenne in Kabul in 2010.

All above board I'm sure...

And they still couldn't get it between the lines after all that driving practice. #YPLAC

I cycled past a Minnesota plated RAM in deepest Perthshire last weekend. I've no idea how they fitted that monster down some of the local singletrack roads....

I was following a Polish reg Honda E down the M1 on Saturday.
Ok, not *that* far away as some on here, but it only has a tiny range so must have taken lots of stopping to charge up..

We saw quite a few US cars in Croatia. I assume they've got a few bases there as they're allowed to bring their cars with them.

Where though? Not at all interesting in Iran, interesting in Surrey, suspicious in certain parts of Gloucestershire. hehe
