Yesterday I bought a 2003 totally standard S, it remained totally standard for the 2 hours it took me to drive from Hexham to Poulton powertech to buy sleeved carbon cans from Simon and then onto xworks tvr to have them fitted. Then the 3 hour drive to nottingham full of pops and bangs.
My initial thoughts after reading all the reviews for weeks and weeks. The car is much easier to drive than I anticipated and also handles predictably and not in the knife edge way that all the reviewers suggest. No tram lineing or wandering. Just planted and predictable. Not as solid feeling as the 911 but I never expected or wanted it to be. Feels lighter than my old cerb but larger than my old tam.. like a cross between the two of them.

Great cars. Its the first thing I did when I had my Tuscan as well. I found the handling fine on the motorway although it did drift a little bit but it was on the B roads that it was a bit unpredictable. A good suspension set up makes a huge difference though. Great choice getting an S, they tend to hold their price well. Lets have some pictures.
