Just accidentally bought another car.

Damn, we must stop doing that!

See here for more info.

Its Cosmic's car, BTW, not mine (I am under strict instructions to make that clear), but I think she's a little corker. So's the car.

Have thoughts of an S gone out the window now then..? ..as I know a man who might part with a well maintained/respected one at a reasonable price...

Cheers,
Matt

I reckon so - can't really justify a 5th car!

Cosmic rejected an F-plate 'S' as being a bit old and unreliable, and then bought an H-plate Lotus!

Seriously though, she's always wanted a Lotus and the FWD Elan suits her needs better than the RWD TVR 'S' would.

I test drove it for her and its a cracking little car. Handles even better than the Corrado, so I can now see why there is a debate as to whether the Corrado or the Elan is the best handling FWD car ever built. Very safe handling apart from a touch of lift-off oversteer on the bends.

We're picking it up on Saturday, so should have the whole evening to argue about whether we take it or the Chimaera to Thruxton on Sunday.

A cynic would say take both, then you can follow the AA van back in whichever one makes it both ways.....

Congrats to Cosmic on the new acquisition. I think you should take both cars on Sunday, Cosmic stopping off at the Lady PHers lunch on the way to show us her new toy!!

I haven't had a breakdown in the Chimaera in 10 months / 7000 miles. Lets not start this debate again!
