Saw a load of rich kids playing in dad's car
Funny how editing four and a half hours of filming down to 4 minutes of program can give that impression. A slightly different edit would have revealed all family members with driving licences (including his mum) blasting the red and yellow Rufs down the runway and through the twisties, with gobsmacked PHers in the passenger seats.

Simon,(assuming you will read this eventually!)
Why were you running with the "Batwings" up ? Thought it might have added a degree of drag?
I've no control over them mate. They seem to come up when they feel like it, obviously when the V12 needs some extra cooling. They will come up manually via a dash switch under 40mph. They go down automatically over that. If they come up over that speed its cos of the ECU telling them to come up soes it can cool down. Your right though - might have got an extra 2mph if they had stayed down...

Is this revision to the earlier cars then, as mine only come up when stationary. Nomatter how hard I rag the car , they never come up...
I was told the only other way they will is if the ambient temp is more than 35 degrees.
Good clip on 5th Gear though.

Tuan,
They will never come up automatically unless you are on a track. Once you have done 2 laps up they come and they wont go down then. They defo come up via the dash switch tho, as long as you are under 40mph. After that they will go down assuming the engine does'nt need cooling. If they are'nt doing this giv Lambo London a call!!

Yeah, Mine came up during the latter stages of an 80 mile "B" road thrash yesterday - just thought that yours would'nt have popped up until the end of the run - guess they must have known what was coming! - predictive cooling eh?

Seconded... wealthy his parents may be, but Adam seems to be a top chap in his own right and I'm glad he is coming to the MayExcuseToGetDrunkHoon on May 21st
