White Alfa Romeo 159 Ti

Disappointed by the lack of Alfas in this section so thought I would put mine up.
Bought it in March this year after a year without an Alfa. Took me 6 months to find my very exact requirements, white diesel sportwagon with roof rails in Ti spec. 600 mile round trip and I had a new car. (Ever travelled 300 miles in a new to you Alfa with 120k on the clock with no breakdown cover - after buying in a private sale?
)
Faultless trip and a smile on my face all the way home. Ended up with a 2.0 Diesel which had been used as a company car by a MAN employee, a huge stack of service history and great extras like Xenon headlights and BOSE speakers and sub.
Didn't take me long before i started making it my own. With a car that looks stunning standard its a fine line between making it your own and completely ruining it.
Started off with a Maxton design splitter with a FK automotive grill which I had picked up for 3 euros when I had my previous car. Also painted that annoying white panel behind the grill, will never understand why that is body coloured, looks ridiculous.
Even had a face off with another wagon (just a bit more modified than my own
Then the 159 standard issue cropped up in the form of a cracked rear spring, which of course was great reason to go all out with a replacement. Bilstein B8 shortened shocks with H&R 35-40mm drop springs would be more than sufficient.
That will do for now I think, will try to keep this up to date as I do more to the car, next up caliper painting and then wheel refurb.

Bound to be a few Facebook groups to cover this too, but not something I have investigated.
Not the next couple of pictures i was hoping to add to this post but life happens. Pothole took an exception to my wheel 
And in true Alfa style the space saver doesn't fit over the front 330mm brembos, so had to switch the wheels about, not great at 9pm.
Doesn't quite have the same look about it with the pathetic space saver on the rear. Time to try and fail to get the council to fork out for a new one!
To my personal taste the front end is a little too low for my liking and prevents me from putting spacers in, I can get another 20mm height if I reverse the cup on the shock, but that will have to wait till I'm going in for another job before I do that.
