Average...over hyped...if they think that's the best they can do after a 3 year absence....then they need a little more time in the studio

It's rubbiiiiiiiiiiiiish!

Never did like Oasis, mind you.

Was a Blur man myself...

Not that I listened to them much either.

I hate Oasis so i'm slightly biased but I didn't like the song when i heard it on MTV. I'm sure its one of those that grows, but I just thought it was a wannabe 'Layla'... ie Oasis trying to make an infamous song... hhmm

I used to love Oasis (I still like the old material) but this song is absolutely shocking, they need to try and keep some dignity and just give up.

Bob Harris played Lyla then Streetfighting man on his saturday show last weekend, they are remarkably similar.

They need to go back to the earlier stuff. Much better in my opinion. Beatles went the same way and ended up recording rubbish.

crap crappity crap crap crap - all their stuff sounds the same, you get the same nasal twang from liam. imo the only one with any talent is noel, and it shows on songs like "The Masterplan" and "Aquiesce"

Where did I say that?

Please read the post eh! Their earlier stuff was good but they lost it at the end and the only reason so many liked it was because they felt they had to as they were Beatles fans. Same with Oasis! people like the new stuff because Oasis are supposed to be hip and trendy right? Wrong! your only as good as your last job/song/etc and if it's crap then it's crap.
