Don't quote me on this, but I think car entry is about £30 per car, and tickets are about £30-£60. There's PLENTY of totty there, some of whom will be wearing tight jodphurs - which can only be a good thing.
If you do go, look out for Luke Tomlinson, who's a current England player - perhaps better known for dodging the 'men in tights' when he burst into the Commons with Otis Ferry.
edited to say - tickets go on sale in the next week or so, normally via the Guards Polo Club website:

No you don't need expensive tickets been going for years now and you just turn up on the day get a car park ticket (£30 last year I think from memory) put out your lunch on blanket or full tables and chairs and then watch the totty.
After lunch there is general milling about with some very nice young ladies (but be aware they are not all posh !!!!!!)
Just drop me a line if you want any more info

excellent £30 seems a fair exchange for a days letching!

I echo plotless.
It is a very pleasant day, the weather over the last 3 years has been fabulous, and it is a great social event. Car on the day is £30 - in advance it is £15. You really don't need to make an expensive day of it, get a North stand seat which faces the sun and is cheaper than the South stand. You will find plenty of posh and plenty of not so posh people there, it really makes no difference, go with an open mind, watch a magnificent sport and take in the views
