I'm no movement expert by any means, but what does the collective make of this?
Seems very interesting tbh:

Although I think most watch enthusiasts are not really interested in accuracy or power reserve, otherwise we'd all be wearing quartz?

Haven't yet watched the vids but Zenith is an understated brand. I bought a Patek 2526 15 years ago for a fortune then sold for twice that. Come 40th few years ago I couldn't of what I wanted. After much near purchasing 18k retro pieces I settled on Chronomaster moonphase triple calendar chronomaster.
I admire Rolex but more often seen as quality fake. Zenith I've never seen another do I know if I do it's likely genuine.
Thoughts?

In short, they replaced half a dozen components with this silicone oscillator:

That oscillates at a mesmerizing 15Hz. Allowing for near smooth hand movement and a lot bigger power reserve.

Looks great in action:

The "problem" I have with rolex (a part from their inflated pricing and marketing strategies) is that it doesn't tell you anything about the person. Rolex is one of the only watch brands that is aspirational outside of watch enthusiasts. I know many Rolex owners that have nearly no interest in watches.

Because of that they are immensely popular. Since this thread started, about 5 threads on here have started about how to buy a Sub.
