To run alongside the worst TV comedies thread, lets consider the BEST Tv comedies.

Series that spring to mind as making me laugh, and regularly viewed repeatedly on DVD, include: Spaced, Black Books and that old favourite Fawlty Towers.

Oh yes, bugger, I forgot Blackadder !

Specifically, Blackadder goes Forth. Some of the very best British comedy.

Funny and bittersweet. The first time I saw the end of the last episode, I was genuinely moved.
