on what car ?

they seem to use a tuneit module now days, so not really evomsit software. (they just make a basic map for self install)

I think Cobb has the better unit myself, then get a pro tune for about £300 to match what mods you have.
Cobb also data logs live and has more support.

Tuneit has zero support and is the box used by some tuning companies, so you are tied into EVOMSIT etc , but I see no direct support for the box or for 3rd party tunes on it.

Any pro dealer can change your Cobb unit if you add a apart so not tied into any one.

Thanks
Mine is a 997.2 C2s, to which have fitted the Sharkwerks exhaust bypass, while looking into that I found the website write-up for the EVOMSit quite interesting. The problem being the only listed installer is down in Southampton and I am up north I could obviously get the car there but it is a long drive if there are better options available. I will look into the Cobb as suggested.

I just ordered the Tuneit tool and map for my GT3 (see the Modified 997s thread) so not sure how good it is as yet. Being out in Abu Dhabi I just wanted something that can be installed safely with minimum scope for something to be wrongly programmed. I told them my mods and a chap called Sam Stone (sstone@evoms.com) has been super helpful (other parts also ordered) and informed me they will tune to those mods. Doubt it is the best possible as not specifically tailored on the car but I found price okay and liked the readup.

Thanks I've been watching your thread with interest, afraid I am not in the GT3 league, so just tinkering with my 2s to try and get the best out of it. Hope the EVOMS works out for you, the website claims are pretty interesting.

I don't see the point in all that money for 13bhp gain

bypass pipes for that model and leave it, spend the rest on adjustment, tyres ditching PASM etc.
