At the beginning of film, one sees on the car of David Aames the Ferrari logo on the left but that is in his dream. After he awoke, one sees that he leaves with the same car but, as by enchantment, the Ferrari logo disappeared. Maybe, the dream car is a Ferrari, and the real life car a Mustang. (Julien Dendal)

Yep, 250 and pretty sure it was a replica.
