I was just remembering the most insensitive thing I have said (it always makes me laugh)

It was a few years back and we were having a little celebration to celebrate my little sisters birthday (I think she was about 10), nothing special just the immediate family and my Brothers girlfriend.

We were outside in the garden and my sisters little guinea pig was running around, then a fox jumped in the garden. We very quickly rushed to get between the fox and the little Guinea Pig, but the poor little thing had a heart attack and twitched a few times then was dead. My sister was very upset about this and so was my Brothers girlfriend, there was allot of crying etc. Later when we were inside and had finished eating the meal someone said Its a shame the evening was spoiled and I said (being serious)'I don't know the food wasn't so bad.'-everyone seemed to think it was a just a little bit insensitive.

Anyway has anyone else some stories to tell?

not me thankfully but my mate.

Remember that tv program with the chef Gordon Ramsey in that was on a while back?

well during it at one point he said to a guy put your hand on your s*c and find your balls. or words to that effect.

Me and my mate pickd this up and said it alot usualy when riding the bikes.

Only he said it to a guy at work whos reply was Id love to mate but I cant, I had mine removed through testicular cancer.

Not me but a mate who, generally speaking, has a very black sense of humour:

Girl approaches him in a club and says, "Do you have a light?"

Mate replies, "No, but I've got AIDS... You want some?"

I have to confess to finding it hilarious when I first found out about it, but I do also accept that it was an extremely inappropriate response!

There was a barmaid at my local pub that I use to get on really well with. We both used to take the piss out of each other in such a way that if you overheard and didn’t know we knew each other you’d be quite alarmed at how we spoke to each other.

Anyway she got pregnant and at one early stage in the pregnancy I walked into the pub one evening. We exchanged greetings at which point I looked her up and down and said something like:

“So, are you pregnant or are we just a bit fat this weekend then?”

She didn’t see the funny side and I felt about 2 inches tall all night.

A bit dodgy was she?

Actually my Brother has very little patience with girls coming on to him he doesn't like. There was one girl who was pursuing him in a club-fine but wrong 'style' for him (if you know what I mean)-in the end he was telling her to Fu*k off to get rid of her.

My mate is an ugly f**ker, and doesn't really get girls coming on to him - He just doesn't have much patience with people generally! I makes him really funny to be around if you're one of the few people he does like.

Its not really funny, but an ex'es mum was having chemo and lost her hair, used to wear a wig.

Went over for dinner one evening and watching TV after, I made two very insensitive comments to the TV in front of her, one was 'God, that man is bald' the other was along the lines of 'eeww is he wearing a wig'

She died soon after

As a teen I asked my first GF how orgasms felt for girls and she told me something like:

"Really nice, when you have a good one you could just die" Or something along those lines..

The next time we had sex I leaned in and whispered gently into her ear "So, you wanna die?"

My pillow talk hasn't really improved much over the years

Once sang a drunken remdition of "where's ya mother gone" outside an orphanage. Now that was definitely not a sensitive plan

Apparently I did said something last night that was a tad insensitive. The missus thought so anyway, and we had a blazing row. A friend of my little boy came round for the afternoon, they watched DVD's, friend borrowed a Thunderbirds DVD and proceeded to tell me about how his smummy had a DVD writer and would copy ot for him. I happen to think this is stealing and tell him so. My better half thinks he got upset and tried to defend his mummy; I remember it as him not seeing why copying was stealing so I explained why - she wouldn't take a DVD from Tesco without paying would she? No. Ten she shouldn't take a copy either.

I thought nothing further of it until my wife had taken the little chap home, then she laid into me when she got back.

I must be the epitome of insensitivity, as I still don't see what I did wrong.
