Cheers Douglas,
Yep, nearly forgot about that one. I think it's an hour special on the presenters favourite cars, just hope Tiff has a Tiv on his list!

Well, missed part one but obviously didn't miss the Tivs. Any interesting cars in part one?

360 Modena & F40. Tiff quite liked the 360 and even if you didn't know it wasn't his you could tell; first thing he did was switch the traction control off

Suprised that Tiff said he couldn't afford a 360 - would have thought he was loaded.

Maclaren F1 is the best car in the world? Kinda obvious, I'd have tought...

When Tiff was discussing the customer care of owners of an F1 he mentioned some "interesting additions" that he couldn't mention due to customer confidentiality. Anyone have any (serious/funny) ideas what these addtions could be. I need inspiration, the interior of my F1 is starting to feel same old, same old.

Revolving number plates? Nitrous? Underlighting?

What else could you do to an F1? And why would you want to? Sat Nav and Phone, fair enough. Updated interior? Sure. The design brief was 'no compromise' - do you have any thoughts on how to improve the best car in the world? Would could be done to warrant privacy? I'm intrigued.

eh..

Stage 1 upgrade/ "big bore" exhaust (joke)
4 Speed automatic
Playstation/DVD/Sound system

However, due to Tiff not mentioning, there must be a few more exotic modifications.

An AC Cobra doing 190mph on a motorway was the reason we have speed limits on our motorways, still if I had one I would done exactly the same.

F1 Mods - Parking sensors, dimming lights on the sun visor mirrors, or just automatic skid mark removal system?

I thought it was the Jag E-Type press 'test' run on the M1 that made the goverment bring in speed limits on Motorways????

I missed most of it. Watching Lord of Rings with the children for the millionth time. I'll kick myself if the quattro was on there because it might have convinced Mrs Y that it is not, in fact, "a bit like an old Capri".

I think they may have been a bit misleading with the quattro bit, I don't think you can pick up an orignal quattro Short for £5k.

Good coverage of the Audi Quattro I'm afraid, better start the punishment. Showed both the normal and short-wheel base rally version driven by Michelle Mouton. I will always remember standing in the the pouring rain in the darkness of an RAC special stage in the Welsh forests, listening to the turbo wastegate warble of the Audi Quattro at full chat getting ever closer and then being blinded by the line of halogen spots. Audi made it all worthwhile. It's still a most desirable car.
