Why delete the thread?

Yet again one muppet jumps on a thread st stirring and being a dick and now it has been locked. Why didn't you just delete his desperate attention whoring nonsense and ban him?

I think the last post before the thread was closed summed it up pretty well i.e. the thread had become poisonous.

I just feel a bit sorry for TGE/Tom having to put up with RL's nastiness. RL then trying to mask this as "trolling" when in fact he was just being unpleasant isn't a great thing to see on here.

I agree, RL had turned it poisonous. But why does he get a pass, he should be banned and the thread let to run its proper course without his trolling input.
