S1 to S2 gear linkage conversion

Does anyone know if its possible to fit the S2 gear linkage system to an S1?

I am looking for smoother gear changes and the S2 seams much improved.

I know of an S2 breaking for spares so could make ideal conversion.

Buy the Eliseparts gear linkage kit. Huge improvement over the standard S1 change. Mine was about £60 IIRC.
