my thanks to bengie for his idea of swapping the relay, it works a treat now. Only 2 wipes after a wash, and an easily adjustable (with the use of the wiper stalk) delay between wipes on intermitant. Its the dogs danglies, why the arnt all like this i just dont know. I never thought I would look forward to rain. mind you with the weather as it is at the moment I wont have to wait too long.

I can't find the original post so can you remind me - this was the relay from a VX wasn't it? Do you happen to have the part number to hand. I fancy doing this too.

Cheers,
Chris

yep, Bosch part number is correct. I visited the bosch site to find my local auto electrical dearler and ordered it through him. He did state that the bosch computer system only showed a stock of 1 though, which I got. maybe a vauxhall dealer will have one if it is fitted to the VX220. the packaging also says it is suitable for Audi, Peugeot, VW, Saab,Porsche, and Volvo. I just suppose it is worth trying one of those, if you are comfortable visiting a peugeot dearlership?

the bosch relay does away with ANY type of modification, just a simple 1 for 1 swop with the OE and away you go. the adjustment is by using the wiper arm and counting the dely you require. simple
