Centre Lock Disc Hubs
Discussion
Doesn't matter if you have CL or 6-bolt hubs, but to use your existing 6-bolt discs on CL hubs you'll need an adapter like this:

I use one of these adapters and it works perfectly. Personally I would stick to 6 bolt hubs if you can for the simple reason that they are universal. I've got both and can swap wheels between bikes because the rotors are compatible. Centre locks are a better design in my opinion but not universal.

Conversely I prefer CL hubs, especially for wheels I swap around alot. You can whip a CL rotor off and transfer it to the wheel that's going on in seconds, which isn't the case with 6-bolt. So saves having to buy additional rotors for spare wheelsets.Obvious thing probably, OP, but check the axle standards are the same on what you order as what you have. eg Quick Release or 12mm thru-axle

They were the same QR axles but I completely forgot about the auction and missed out in the end. Oh well you've all given me some knowledge for future purchases so cheers Obvious thing probably, OP, but check the axle standards are the same on what you order as what you have. eg Quick Release or 12mm thru-axle
