nicknames for things when you were a kid

i was just thinking about what i used to call certain items when i was a child, which had no recollection to the item in question, it was something i simply made up and thought thats what it was called.

For example i used to call tomato sauce: Doy doy
and i used to call my sleeping bag: Deepin bah

anybody have anything they called a completely random name as a child, or has anyones own child done this?

I know that my neice calls a bruise or a cut a: Paw paw

god knows why, but then again, what i used to call ketchup and a sleeping bag dont make any sense either.

Would be interesting to know if anyone has found the secret words that kids use amusing.

My brother used to call lorries 'dubben dar' or something similar.

I had a girlfriend that still referred to that as a lulu when she was 27. Apparently blokes bits were called Cory.

Kids call farts 'pimps' - New to me but seemed fine in the village where they were born. Now over in Suffolk they have started to realise that this is not the best word for it. I should able point out it can be used as a verb or a noun!

I have only just learnt to pronounce two words:-

Chimneys will always be chim-lees to me and penguins peng-when-gs. Mrs PHSL when she first heard be but I had never been corrected before...

I used to call the door bell the "Arr-no" . Apparently my Mum used to say "Oh No" when the doorbell used to ring. Probably when she was in the middle of doing something & I picked up on this.

My Dad used to say Yonkeem for icescream.
A friend of his used to say OOgleyall for water

A friend of mine used to say Hodmedod for a snail
