There has been a few threads on here about bonnet catches with alternatives mentioned.

I just keep replacing the pins when they break as there isn't much else to go wrong.

If really want a new set then I think Torquervt have some, your problem will be getting them to sell you them as last time I spoke to them they said "they're in a box some where, I'll let you know when I find them". That as over a year ago and I'm still waiting!

Common problem. Try filing a small groove on the underside of the slotted piece of metal fixed to the body. This should stop the locking pin turning freely from the locked position. Worked for me.

The locks simply rotate 360 degrees. There isn't a lock position to stop them rotating...rubbish designed.
As above you can file a notch in the bracket to hold the pin in the correct place or make it a tighter fit so it can't rotate without force - I packed my with tap washers!

Does anyone know where to obtain replacement fixings for the other end of the inspection bonnet? (nose end as opposed to windscreen end) They are heaxagonal bodied bolts with a spring loaded pin - one of the pins has snapped. TVR parts say this part is no longer available.

My garage had the same problem trying to find replacements.... No longer available

Someone needs to re-manufacture as they seize eventually..
