So, Rockingham...

It's tight at the top, who do we think is going to walk away at the end of the weekend leading the championship?

Can Mike Bushell beat all the records in the Clio Cup and secure the championship?

Will all the spectators have a seat? laugh

2 wins for turks and one for sheddon although i think ingram will be competative. But this weekend i'll be off to Silverstone otherwise i'd have gone to watch.

Also the only uncovered grandstand left open to public has now been shut for safety reasons. Main grandstand only for seating.

I love Rockingham, I really do, I think it's a great circuit for being different to any other, you can see the whole circuit from the top of the main grandstand.

That said, I have no idea why they have 5 grandstands, I've only ever seen two of them open at any event I've been to and how they left it til this week to find out that the turn one grandstand was unsafe is beyond me.

They're not helping themselves, loads of people (mainly who haven't been there) hate the circuit and this will have put a load of people off who were considering going.

I went last year and wouldn't rush back.

Didn't enjoy it from a spectators point of view.

That just confirmed I'm not going, it's my local track but I very rarely visit, a real shame but it's just not very spectator friendly. I thoroughly enjoy the pickup trucks when they go on the oval, but the road course is far better on tv; being restricted to one side of the track is frustrating when most of the action is at the far side. I've never really understood why they can't just put a path round the whole outside of the track and some bits of grass banking so you can choose your own viewing spot instead of being forced into the main grandstand - maybe I was just spoilt by having Knockhill as my local track for years with free access to any viewing angle I liked!

I think its great for spectators, you can get on the roof of the pits and you can see most of the track from the grandstand

Absolutely chuffed that we'll be involved for our fourth season with Handy & with a car that might fit in better with the other stuff in the workshop wink

They be on the hard tyre so not so likely. Its not like Cole disappeared from Goff in the last race, they are one of the slowest in the speed traps so its down to such a good set up of the car.

I can't see anything but a Subaru win in R2,everybody else has to get past 2 of them.

Neal might use his usual tactics.

Good first race, Sutton is a proper racer, knows exactly when to make a move and got it done when it mattered, Goff put up a good fight.

It was nice to see Cook mixing with the front end again too, the battle for 2nd, 3rd and 4th was good all race.

Having said all that, there was some shocking driving again, Jelley in particular.

I watched it with no sound though so does anyone know what happened to Shedden and what the issue was with Ingrams car?
